This photo was taken before the ceremony in a hinterland garden at a private residence.
It was taken just after the first look. Emma and Kent had decided that they wanted to spend some quiet time alone before the ceremony and the reception before the party began in earnest . I particularly really like this photo as it is a simple quiet moment and you can just tell that they are so in love.
The hinterland is a great option as a place to get married as opposed to the beach. It tends to be a bit cooler temperature wise than on the beach if you are getting married a bit later in the year. Also there are some truly beautiful locations whether it be some of the iconic tourist spots at Maleny, Mapleton, Montville, Glasshouse Mountain or Kureelpa. Or you can keep it really simple and opt for a beautiful garden location such as this one.
